Sous Chef

We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity, along with strong leadership skills to assist in the management of our kitchen operations.

Duties:
– Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food production
– Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality dishes are served
– Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain stock levels
– Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and storage
– Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials
– Support in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Skills:
– Proven experience in kitchen management and food preparation
– Strong inventory management skills to control costs and minimize waste
– Excellent knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation regulations
– Ability to lead a team effectively with strong communication skills
– Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred
– Proficiency in bartending techniques is a plus
– Culinary degree or relevant certification is desirable

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
