FALSE STATEMENT NOTICE

A false statement on any part of your application may be grounds for the KTDC to choose not to employ you or to terminate employment after you begin work. Also, you may be punished by fine or imprisonment (Kootenai Law & Order Code, Section 4-19; U.S.C., Title 18, Section 1001.) The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho has adopted an alcohol and drug-free workplace policy. The use, sale, or possession of alcohol or drugs in the course of employment is prohibited. Reporting to work while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is forbidden. The Immigration Reform And Control Act of 1986 requires all individuals who are hired, as a condition of employment, produce certain documentation to verify their identity and legal authorization to work in the U.S. You understand that any offer of employment is contingent on your ability to produce the required documentation within the time period required by law. KTDC employment is terminable-at-will. This application is not a contract, nor is it intended to be a contract for continued employment, and either the applicant or KTDC may terminate employment at any time with or without cause or notice. Applications may be kept on file for up to six months. KTDC, however, makes no representation that the application will be reviewed for any other position than the original opening for which the applicant has applied. If the applicant wants to be considered for any other position or opening, they should contact the employer directly.
